If at first you don’t succeed: try, try, try, try... and then try again. 🥖 February was, in a word, joyful! 🥐✨ January bakes: dialing in croissants, honoring a French January with a few galettes des rois for my family, having fun with new bakes (honey butter toast, rooibos financiers… baked in madeleine molds—it’s a long story), and continuing my love–hate pursuit of the perfect einkorn loaf. I’m not into limiting my holiday boxes to just cookies 🎁This year's box included flaky chocolate, ham & cheese, and almond croissants, cardamom buns, crookies, citrus brioche with rum raisins and almond macaronade, chocolate babka knots, and crème brûlée cookies… all baked with love (and a little help from my favorite kitchen tool: the blow torch 🔥) A month of baking, learning, and recipe testing later—my core products are taking shape.
